Our Purpose
With a vision to excellence, the purpose at Western Dog Grooming School is to provide the education of Pet Care, Grooming techniques, and execution of grooming different breed trims to students so that they will be knowledgeable in their chosen field and well prepared to further their professionalism with C.P.G. and PIJAC certifications. This we feel will lead to the right career choice for each individual.
Our Objectives
Objective #1 To Our Students:
- to educate students in all aspects of theory pertaining to their discipline
- to facilitate student development in all practical skills pertaining to their discipline
- to provide direction for future employment prospects
- to be a resource for our students by being aware of labor trends, job placement statistics, and industry hiring preferences
Objective #2 To Our Clients:
- to provide quality and value in our services (the Owners)
- to make the service an enjoyable experience (the Pets)
- to make our clients aware that they area a valuable resource needed to assist students in obtaining practical experience
Objective #3 To Our Community:
- to be a good corporate citizen in the community
- to be a resource and support to Career Councilors in the local High Schools
- to share our resources within the Community such as SPCA, non-profit pet care associations
